The Rotary Club of Wolfeboro is sponsoring its 21st annual Holiday Basket to help raise funds for L.I.F.E. Ministries Food Pantry. Over the past 20 years, the Holiday Basket Drive has raised over $846,000 for the Food Pantry. This year our goal is raising $85,000 to combat the food insecurities of our neighbors. The Holiday Basket fundraiser is being held from Dec 1 to Dec 5.

Although Wolfeboro is known as The Oldest Summer Resort in America, we still have food-insecurity as do most communities, especially in this year of COVID-19.  The L.I.F.E. Ministries Food Pantry supports not only Wolfeboro, but the surrounding towns of Ossipee, Alton, Tuftonboro, Wakefield, and more.  Our goal this year is to raise $86,000.

Eric Scott of WASR did an interview on December 1st with Mike Turner, President of the Food Pantry, Brian Laing, Wolfeboro Rotary President, and Mal Cook, Food Pantry volunteer and Rotary member.  Click below to listen:
